The Music Scene is located in the heart of the city of Pittston, centrally located between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, making it easily accessible from numerous points throughout Northeastern PA.  The original store was named "B & C Music Studio" and thrived for many years, from the late 1960's to 2011.  The store was owned and operated by two very accomplished musicians, and is currently owned by a musician with over 30 years teaching experience, and over 45 years experience with guitars and other instruments.  The name and ownership change was instituted in January 2012, and the business was given the new name of "The Music Scene".  It has always been the policy of the store to deal with customers on a personal and caring basis, and that high quality of service will continue to be carried on into the future. Many measures have been taken by the new management  to adapt to the technology of the present day, and improvements are constantly on the forefront.  With new enthusiasm, the store has been remodeled  both in physical appearance and items for sale, as well as customer service attitude. Changes in every area of the store and every style and type of music have been taken into consideration, from a 99 cent Kazoo for the aspiring child to a $2000 Stratocaster for the working musician.  Every line of merchandise and dealer has been thoroughly vetted and well thought of with the customer's interest in mind for the best instrument for the value. The store caters to all aspects of music instruction from Orchestral to Rock, and qualified veteran instructors are available to make your musical dream become an accomplishment.
